Thanks for starting the thread for me, Mems. I was away on a fishing/photography fortnight where I ended up catching fish one day and no photos! Thanks to a bruised knee and shin from slipping in the boat, followed by an infected shin, ankle and foot. Somehow the two were related but it is a long story and I have no idea why. He did explain but it may as well have been in Greek. Still getting around with all the speed and grace of a three toed sloth!
Anyway, here is a place marker to get us started

Don't feel bad. You are not the only one. Everybody, except me, has found the funny side. I have stopped telling people after two of mum's friends went into hysterics. Sympathy is in short supply
I sold that place setter to some friends in Colorado. We put snow capped peaks on our walls. They loved wave photos.

The leg is getting better but still not great. I think I am going to need another round of antibiotics to beat the infection. It has put a big red line through the month of September for photography competitions for me. Sorry folks.
Not a lot of competition this month so there will be no third dividend. Runner up is Mems for the blue rubber duck. First goes to DGap for the final photo in his series. Nice contrast between the cloudy blue sky and the water.
Let's hope that October is kinder to everyone. Thinking of you Peter. I hope things get better very soon Regards Hopalong!
