You have two weeks to come up with an edit on this - plenty of potential I hope. You can do any or all of these - just trying to spark a little interest

Good idea, having a choice. I didn't realise it was a weekly thing?

It isnt. Trying to gender more interest by putting a short time limit on it. Easy to remove that limit if you prefer, everyone?

Here's a starter. By the way, I just noticed my Nik collection has disappeared. Clues?

1.Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?
That line always cracks me up when I watch the IT crowd, but actually it is the best thing when the system starts doing weird things. It is always my first step.
2.Look in Finder or programmes. If you can't find them, try a search. They may be there but not where you are looking.
3. Go to downloads and open the download file again.
4. Download them again

1. I adjusted the black, shadow and exposure sliders in LightRoom. Then I opened it in PS Elements and I altered the size of the canvas 2. All the rest was done in PS Elements. First I Painted the cloud to cover the blank canvas 3. Straightened it a touch 4. Pasted in a stream picture and rubbed out all but the river bank 5.Copied the Wheel and pasted it over the river. Rubbed out all the bits that I didn't want from each layer and flattened it. 6. Re pasted the wheel, inverted it, reduced the opacity to 30% and rubbed out the bits I didn't want. 7. Applied a ripple filter to the layer and flattened the image 8. Repeated steps 5,6 & 7 with the chimney

I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I would love to keep a copy this photo edit, Mems, if that is OK with you. It came out well. 1. Opened in LightRoom. Adjusted Exposure and contrast to lighten the image to a foggy appearance. 2. Applied a heavy vignette 3. Flicked it across to PS and copied the tractor 4. Flicked it into Nik and applied the sepia filter 5. Back to PS where I pasted the colour copy of the tractor onto the sepia. Trimmed up the edges with the eraser. ( I never worry if the magic wand copies too much. You can always tidy up with the eraser tool) 6. Back to LightRoom where I applied the Direct Positive preset.

Last one. I really had no idea with this one. I thought I would try to take out as much detail as possible and enhance the green.. I finished up just fooling around with a couple of filters emphasising the colour, keeping some resemblance of what is, but just enhancing colour and shape. It turned into a bit of an abstract. I can't remember an exact set of steps.

Nice work guys. Of course keep it Col - I did similar myself, blew it up, had it framed and gave it to my friend so she could give it to the owner of this still used old tractor (her son in law). by the way it was originally owened by his father so is now a sort of family heirloom. One week to go so keep em coming

Thanks Mems. I am going to print it and frame it for someone I know so I will write your name on the back.

NIK's back! Tried to give it a cold New Zealand look. Just used a Nik colour filter and a photo filter to make the colours cool.

Looks a bit older! Adjusted colours and experimented with "liquify" filter.
