Hi
Don't know about the layout, bland and small headings, different posting set up, but I suppose it is just because it's different to what I am used to.
Much prefer the other layout/format.
My 2 bob's worth.

Still have to click my refresh symbol on my computer to see anything new. Is this normal?

I agree that the format is a bit foreign but that is only a minor issue. I was tired of the old format so I am happy to go with the new
