OK. Me again. I have been 'seriously' taking photos since about 2000 before which I was a happy snapper most of my life, starting at about 12 - when we uprooted and came to Australia. I have moved on from my Nikon D7000 (someone else enjoys that camera and lenses now!) and now happily use the mirror-less Olympus OM-D E-M1 with a 60mm Olympus macro and a 12-40 as well. I really miss my Nikon but could no longer manage the weight but mostly I miss the prime lens I had. It is taking a while to get used to the view size but I have managed to take several portrait panoramas using the Photoshop stitcher which in this current version is very good indeed. I love to 'play' with my photos and use lightroom and photoshop (cloud) extensively when I do play spending hours picking out photos then seeing what I can 'do' to them. I am these days leaning more to taking parts of a scene or item rather than the whole although landscapes are still dominant. Oh and I drive my poor husband to despair when I put the camera in the car prior to 'drives' - he has taken to sighing heavily!!

And a very good job you do of taking photos photos with the Minolta.
And I know for sure that the Nikon7000 is well looked after and enjoyed by its new owner too!

Bugger. Minolta. Where did that come from? I must have been thinking of my old gear! Another senior moment!

Hands up all the old Minolta users (count me in). :-)

I have a lot of old lenses with the old Minolta fittings that I would love to use on the Nikon but no one makes an adapter for the old Minolta coupling.
