We found ourselves in a country town where a highlight of a charity evening at the local pub was dropping a former rally car from a crane as a fund-raiser. After a few unsuccessful releases from the crane (which meant it was near dark before the event), down it came.A triptych seemed best to get the action.  |

I have been waiting and hoping to catch a thunderstorm or something. Maybe I will before the deadline. In the meantime I will post this photo I took of an air battle I witnessed between a square tailed kite and a magpie. Very spectacular aerobatics by both. BTW the magpie was the aggressor.  |
