I feel guilty about not contributing for some time, but would really like to see a revival in PhotoArt, and particularly in Landscape Land. We are nearly all foundation members and have seen many changes to this Forum. Maybe we will get re-energised and back into it in the near future. Any comments or suggestions?

Hi Peter, Long time, no hear. How are you going? I am in the same boat as you with regard to making posts. It would be nice to see this forum used again but I think the original format had run its course. I am actually surprised that the website is still going.
I am not sure what the new format would be but perhaps just a post and discuss format. Maybe a competition from time to time. I have joined a forum on Facebook that follow that format called Bird Photography Australia but have not posted there much either. Regardless it is good to view the posts and get instant-ish feedback on my posts.
Maybe the Facebook forum for PhotoArtGallery would be the way to go. My Villida facebook page and my Villida website have taken up most of my time lately (plus writing, some research, a bit of art, way too much gardening.) I have been in contact with Sandra recently regarding using a photo she took and I edited that I wanted to post on my website. She is producing some amazing art lately. The portraits she sent me were really fabulous.
I do like the personal touch this gallery has/ had and I do miss the online camaraderie that is lacking on Facebook so I am keen to see what others think.

G'day Peter and Villida It's good to see your messages and to know that some of the 'old crew" still are around. I've been away a bit and busy trying to catch up since. I can fully identify with your comment that it would be good to see things revive here, Peter, though I fear that Villida is probably right that the format had run its course: it must be about ten years since the site commenced.
I now spend most of my photographic "online time" at ipernity.com - it's a photo community that recently failed commercially and now has been taken over by the membership. Unfortunately it does require a subscription to cover costs (no adverts) though there is a free introductory membership. Although I have a Facebook account, it's mainly because of family pressure rather than enthusiasm.
Can we get things moving here again? I really don't know, but I think to make it viable we'd need a substantial increase in the number of regular users. Now, are there any others of the former group out there?
